e-Witness
The e-Witness system ensures that every step in the process in which sperm, eggs and/or embryos are handled is accurately recorded and checked. This means extra safety: we can prevent mix-ups and guarantee that your bodily material is handled with care.
What does e-Witness mean for you?
A personal code will appear in your patient portal. You can easily save it in the Stocard app or a digital wallet on your phone. During your treatment, you will be asked to have your QR code scanned at various moments, for example at:
→ The egg retrieval
→ The embryo transfer
→ Handing in a semen sample
→ The insemination
All tubes, containers and culture dishes in the laboratory are also labelled with your unique QR code and scanned throughout the entire process. This ensures your bodily material is correctly identified at every moment, from the start through to embryo transfer.

ZKN quality mark

Independent Clinics Netherlands (Zelfstandige Klinieken Nederland, ZKN) is the trade association for independent clinics in the Netherlands. An independent inspection body assesses the care provided and, if the result is positive, awards the ZKN quality mark. Nij Clinics obtained this quality mark after an extensive audit by KIWA.
What does the ZKN quality mark mean?
To receive this quality mark, a clinic must meet strict requirements in the areas of:
