For 2026, we have contracts with Achmea, CZ, ONVZ and VGZ. This means that most of the treatment costs are covered by these insurers. It is important to know that reimbursement depends on your specific care needs, health insurance and policy conditions.
Non-contracted health insurers
Nij Clinics does not have a contract with the other health insurers. This means that we will send you the invoice for the intake and any treatment. We charge the fee set by the government (NZa = Dutch Healthcare Authority).
Whether and how your health insurer reimburses the costs depends on your policy. The reimbursement you receive may be lower than the statutory fee. We recommend that you check your policy conditions or contact your health insurer, so that you know what reimbursement to expect when you come to Nij Clinics for an intake and/or treatment.
Regardless of the reimbursement, you must pay us the full amount of the invoice within the stated payment term.

You will receive the invoice directly from us. You can check with your foreign health insurer whether you can claim the costs.
For the care you receive from us, your compulsory deductible (eigen risico) is used first. If you have chosen a voluntary increase of your deductible, this amount is increased by the amount you agreed with your health insurer. Once you have paid your deductible, your health insurer will start reimbursing the costs. In addition to the deductible, a personal contribution (eigen bijdrage) may also apply to certain treatments.
