The National Fertility Test 2025 (Nationale Vruchtbaarheidstest) is online! With this short, anonymous questionnaire, you can test what you know about fertility and contribute to important research. Whether you wish to have a child yourself or know someone who does: your participation makes a difference.

Why this test?

There are many misconceptions about fertility. For example, many people think stress is a major culprit. But as our fertility doctor Grada van den Dool explains in an interview with
Gezondheidsnet:

“The influence of stress is overestimated. Age and lifestyle are the two most important factors. The sooner you are aware of this, the better you can prepare for a possible future wish to have a child.”

The test is designed to increase your knowledge and raise awareness of the choices you can already make today for your future.

“By testing the Dutch population’s knowledge of fertility, we find out what people do and don’t know. The test may also give people just the nudge they need in terms of awareness: factor your wish to have children into your plans for the future in good time.”
